Hamlet, Shakespeare's most famous play and his greatest character, comes to Prague in a dazzling new English-based, multi-lingual production featuring a thrilling artistic company from across Europe. This innovative and exciting new production shows in many ways WE ARE HAMLET – and explores the central questions of existence – Who Am I? Why Do I Exist? What Must I Do? The production is produced by Prague Shakespeare Company, the Bremer Shakespeare Company (Germany) and the Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named Vasyl Vasylko in association with the Czech Summer Shakespeare Festival and is supported by the EU Creative Europe fund.
Starring PSC favorites Jessica Boone, Taylor Napier, Karel Hermanek Jr., Gregory Gudgeon, and Guy Roberts alongside stars of the German and Ukrainian theatre. Directed by Guy Roberts. Performed in English with select moments in Czech, German, and Ukrainian. With Czech surtitles featuring Czech translation by Martin Hilský.
