Summer Shakespeare Festival 2006

2006 was the premiere of Othello (directed by Petr Kracik) starring Michal Dlouhý and Lucie Vondráčková (alternation  Martin Zahálka and Zuzana Vejvodová) and Oldřich Navrátil as Iago. The Merchant of Venice had the official opening in Czech Republic and the popular Twelfth Night was also repeated. Slovak part of The Festival encouraged by the success of The Merchant of Venice adapted again new play the comedy As You Like It starring Marián Labuda, Martin Dejdar, Noris´s sisters and Ladislav Hampl directed by Emil Horváth.
